Once upon a time we had some collie folks visit us and they thought our small place was "right out of a storybook". We decided then to use that as our kennel name and thought we could have a lot of fun naming dogs with that prefix.

We are lifetime collie lovers, long time collie owners, and more recently, novices in the show and breed rings.

Now at our present location, it is indeed something out of a storybook as it is our dream come true. We find the beauty and tranquility of our farm, the ideal setting for our "family" of collies.

All our dogs are bred and raised for type, temperment, and soundness. Our dogs also display the versatility that is

so common of our breed. They run in the fields, enjoy walks in the woods, and try to herd the assortment of farm animals that co-exist with them here...sometimes more peacefully than other times!

In addition, our collies "turn on" and enter the show ring with that "look at me attitude". Every one of these dogs are as accustomed to the crate as they are to the kennel or the living room couch.

If you are seeking a collie who has these characteristics, please give us a ring. We may have 1-2 litters a year in our effort to produce outstanding collies representative of our breed standard.
